Increased Neighbourhood Traffic at Six Points

On August 26 2019, the City of Toronto continued with Phase 3 of the Six Points Interchange Reconfiguration with the full closure of Bloor St West from Kipling Ave to Prennan Ave for road reconstruction. The intersection of Bloor St West and Kipling Avenue continues to be reconstructed.

To address complaints from local residents about increased traffic in their neighbourhoods, Councillor Holyday requested that 'Road Closed, Local Traffic Only' signs be installed at the following locations:

1. North side of Mervyn Avenue, on the west side of Kipling Avenue (facing westbound traffic).

2. North side of Tyre Avenue, on the west side of Kipling Avenue (facing westbound traffic).

3. East side of Prennan Avenue, on the north side of Bloor Street (facing northbound traffic).

Local residents still have full access to their streets.
