Hearing more aircraft noise than usual?

Toronto Pearson is currently completing a rehabilitation project for Runway 05/23. This is the airport’s busiest runway, which has not required this type of work for over ten years, since 2005.

During construction, Runway 05/23 will be operating under limited capacity, meaning Toronto Pearson will need to use its North/South runways to accommodate traffic, which impact our community. The airport is working with its partners, including NAV CANADA, to encourage a balanced use of the available runways.

The construction is anticipated to be completed by mid-May to avoid the summer months and will resume in Fall 2017.

Residents with questions about airport operations or wanting to register a noise complaint can contact the Toronto Pearson Noise Management Office using any of the following means:

  • Online: Using WebTrak to investigate aircraft operations and register complaints, or our online Complaint Form.

  • Phone: (416) 247-7682
