Share What You Know About Toronto's Built Environment

YOU’RE INVITED: LEARN HOW YOU CAN RESEARCH AND SHARE WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT TORONTO’S BUILT ENVIRONMENT ON TOBuilt

The Toronto Branch of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario invites you and residents of Etobicoke Centre to join us for a free information session on TOBuilt, an open source database of images and information about buildings and structures in Toronto. We will be demonstrating how the database works, how to add and edit entries, and exploring how the database can be used by heritage organizations, advocates, and the community at large.

I have attached the flyer for the event, and further information can be found here; we invite you to share this event with residents and organizations in your ward that may be interested in being part of this city-wide project.

Location: Arts & Letters Club (14 Elm Street, Toronto)

Date: Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Time: 6:00 pm

Capacity is limited, so please RSVP by September 13th to Caroline Ross at tobuilt@acotoronto.ca.

ABOUT TOBUILT

TOBuilt was established in 2006 by Robert Krawczyk before being acquired by ACO Toronto in 2013. The database has grown TO over 11,000 entries. The content added since ACO Toronto relaunched the site has been a collective effort between the staff of ACO Toronto, and ACO members. TOBuilt offers the opportunity for you to join us in sharing what you know about buildings and structures in Toronto.
